Honduras and Costa Rica

Hello there, I've tested the two of them, but first I'll describe methodology. Every coffee get three notes, they are very subjective, well, those are on a scale of 1 to 5 and relate to types of coffee, which are alternative (usually brewed  in Chemex), espresso and latte. To be honest, for alternative one is average note of mine and my girlfriend, latte is her opinion and espresso clearly mine. The last thing, Alternative method: 89°C of water temperature, 30 g of grinded coffee (always the same size), extraction time: max. 4 min. Honduras SHG: Taste profile (by Roaster room): almonds, dark chocolate, sweetness of peach. Opinion: Alternative= 3,5/5, Espresso=1/5, Latte=0/5. Why: The taste in espresso was awful, but coffee was brightroasted (only in this case), so its destination was Alternative, nothing personal :). Kostaryka SHB: Taste profile (by Roaster room): dark chocolate, nuts, clove(!). Opinion: Alternative= 3/5, Espresso= 4, Latte= 4. Why: This clove was so

Hello there, Like I said in the last update, today I'll review a pack of 10 different coffees. I've bought it in a haphazard way, well... I wanted something new and fresh, this Roaster room has been totally unknown by me.  The list of coffees: Nikaragua SHG (Nicaraguan one) Exclusive Blend (blend of Arabic and Robust coffee 9/1) Kostaryka SHB (of Costa rica) Peru HB MCM Salwador (from El Salvador) Kolumbia Excelso (Colombian) Kongo Kivu (Congo) Etiopia Djimmah (Ethiopia) Brazylia Santos (Brazil) Honduras SHG The truth is, those are different of description from their website... Exactly three of them. Other thing which I'm rating among cons is fault of roast grade at packaging. To be true I can say that the first impression is very negative: late sending, not exactly the same products like in description, fault of roast grade description. I hope that the taste will be a huge pro to compensate me for those cons. That's all, Next I'll review 2 or

Hello there, I've ordered coffee beans, but supplier didn't send it at the right moment... so I've to wait. Well this is introduce to next post, which will be a comparison of 10 kinds of coffee from all of the world, but roasted in Wroclaw. Nowadays this city has so much coffee-roasted rooms, I think, the most number of Poland. They've to work with organisation, because it's at a very low level. The story starts here, I was shopping in one of Swedish stores and suddenly in front of my eyes appeared freshly roasted coffee... well, that was novelty of this shop, like it said personnel. There were three kinds of coffee: Columbia, Chocolate and Gorilla. I'm kind of curious person, so the choice was simply: Gorilla. The truth is that it isn't kind of my favorite coffee :(. With milk it is possible to drink, but like espresso shot it's terrible and the same is with mokka expres, in french press is quite good. I'm waiting for delivery, I hope it will be

Hello there,    Have you ever noticed that the cost of mug can starts over 10 zł (3$)? Well, the question is why it has not an ending prize? At first, we have to divide categories of mugs, because it can be at least produced of every material: paper, ceramic, metal, plastic, aluminium and all of kind materials that is impermeable to water. I will not write about papers ones, because their cost is lower than 10 zł and we can find it everywhere. How about ceramic? Nowadays, ceramic is common material, well is in fashion. You can buy it everywhere, but if you need it to go, you can easily buy it with a silicone lid. The cost starts of 49 zł, it has its points like: is in fashion, there is a lot of patterns. The negative features are more like: is heavy, uncomfortable, if it is fulled with hot water, it's burning, fragile.      And plastics ones are in the middle of this comparison, because are not so fragile like ceramic, but can't keep a warm so long like metal/aluminium.
