"Freshly" roasted
Hello there :)
Why have I put freshly in inverted commas?
It's realy simple, becuase it's only an another marketing trick. If I'am looking for freshly roasted coffee it means that the coffee had to be roasted no later than two months ago...
Anyway I am very lenient with that date, because I've read (not once) that the best virtues of coffee are only through four weeks after roast. Know I'm drinking a coffee which roaster says that perserve the best virtues through three months...
To be honest I don't like the very fresh coffee, I mean you can buy on the Internet and they will roast it before send, In my personal opinion I prefer to wait about two weeks at least before brewing, so I think that the optimum date is one month after and it's based on my experience, you have to remember that at the moment of purchase 1kg of coffee beans it has two months, but it will have at least three with a last cup.
That's all.
See ya!
